Who are we?

The Choir was reformed in 1980 from a nucleus of enthusiastic singers from three disbanded Male Voice Choirs in the area.

The Choir has been reduced in number to 20 through death, illness and retirement.

During recent years the Choir has had the opportunity of joining wth  Group Choirs in concert at the City Hall Sheffield, York Minster, Liverpool Cathedral and in the Royal Albert Hall (2005 was our 4th visitation).

In 1988,1996 and 2005 we were invited to sing in concert with Ynysybwl Male Voice Choir, South Wales. Reciprocal visits were arranged and in 1990 and 2004 Ynysybwl Male Voice Choir joined with us in concert at St. Mary's Church.

The Choir actively supports local charities singing in Nursing Homes, Homes for the Elderly, Clubs and Churches.We also sing at private venues and weddings.

The Choir has a fairly extensive repertoire consisting of 142 male voice songs.
