Beighton Bizzy Bee Family Childcare Centre is located next to Brookhouse School, off
School Road, Beighton and is open 51 weeks a year from 8am to 6pm, offering full and half day care for children from 3 months to 5 years, playgroup sessions for 2 ½ to 4 year and free nursery grant session for 3 and 4 year olds. There is also a parent and toddler/baby groups and holiday care for 5-11 year olds. Kids Kabin out of school club is also based in the centre.
Beighton Bizzy Bee Family Childcare Centre was officially opened by the Lord Mayor of Sheffield on Saturday 26 June 2004.
The centre is a culmination of partnership work between Beighton Villages Development Trust, Beighton Bizzy Bee Playgroups Limited and Sheffield Community Childcare Network using European funding provided through Objective 1 and funding from Yorkshire Forward, the Sure Start Unit and the Big Lottery Fund.

The site is located close to the heart of the Beighton village centre and is an essential childcare resource. The premises for Bizzy Bees have enabled Beighton Bizzy Bee Playgroups Limited to expand capacity and services. It provides a holistic, children and family oriented facility at the heart of a community that is currently severely under resourced both in terms of childcare opportunities for working parents and venues for outreach and family support initiatives.
