The project is located off Holbrook Rise, to the south of the village of Beighton and approximately 6km south east of Sheffield City Centre. The site is well located for access to the motorway network lying approximately 4km to the west of Junction 31 of the M1 motorway via the A57 trunk road and/or B6035.

On site construction of this locally prestigious £3.2M project commences in August 2005, with completion by late Spring 2006. Comprising a   total of 52,000 sq. ft. of built commercial floor space, this 2 hectare site will accommodate the expansion needs of 2 local businesses, a speculative unit, and 11,500 sq. ft. of community owned commercial business space housing 8 new local start-up businesses, 4 of which will be established by Beighton Villages Development Trust.  

The project was initiated in response to a clear shortage of good quality accommodation for smaller business start up units in the Beighton area, and following completion, a total over 70 new job    opportunities are anticipated of being created.

To realise this project Beighton Villages Development Trust have worked in partnership for over 2 years to project delivery with professional construction company Shepherd Developments who have a successful track record of delivering commercial developments.
