Beighton Gala & Parade

The Parade and Gala is now an established part of Beighton's Village life and takes place in early July.  Reignhead is represented in the Parade with at least one float each year.  For 2006 we managed two floats and also had a stall on the Gala field.  Our stall was manned by members of the teaching staff who gave out information about School and also sold educational goods.

	Our two floats were designed and built by a small band of parents. The first represented the Reception classes and was adorned with pictures and work done by the Children.  It looked fantastic and earned a special mention from the parade judges.
The second of our floats was designed and built by a small band of volunteers representing our Parent Volunteers.  The theme for this float was "Rainforests to Recycling".  All the hard work was rewarded when this float was awarded first prize for the "Best float" in the parade. A really great achievement.
